J. Parker & Co. is a privately held real estate investment company and master planner known for its stewardship, development, and improvements within Northwest Arkansas. With diversified operations throughout Arkansas and Missouri, J. Parker & Co. plans and brings to life balanced, sustainable communities with a full range of residential housing, workspace and preserved open space. They are committed to long-term ownership of a high-quality portfolio, the scope, and quality of which are respected in the industry. Their property portfolio and developments exceed 150,000 square feet and include offices, subdivisions, townhouse complexes, apartment communities, and park space. J. Parker & Co. also maintains that philanthropy and environmental responsibility is essential to community development, and has dedicated over $300,000 in assets, in addition to open space, to these purposes. The company traces its roots to the vision and upbringing of founder and chairman Jamal Parker.
As a member and leader of the snacks and confection category, his team won the quarterly buying team award seven times. In 2010 and 2011, Jamal was named Top 50 Executives in the nation by Food & Beverage Magazine. In 2011, he was also given the annual Buyer of the Year award for the Sam’s Club division of Walmart Stores Inc. and in 2012 given the annual Item Merchant of the Year award. In 2013, Jamal was named to the National Confectioners Association’s Editorial board as well as the organization’s Sweets and Snacks Expo committee. In 2014, he was recognized by the National Confectioners Association for his participation and achievements in the industry with the prestigious Confectioners Leadership Award at the State of the Industry annual conference in Miami. Jamal is also a recipient of the Carnegie Human Relations award. In 2016, Jamal started J. Parker & Co., drawing upon his passion for entrepreneurship, experience from buying and sales and his knowledge of investing and operating in real estate.
The client came to Simplemachine with the goal of creating a multi-fold site with web design that was user-friendly and simple to find all of the information. The J. Parker & Co. website was handcrafted using a simple approach that incorporated their style along with a simple flow. Working with the J.
